Inadequate signposting and cycle path markings

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 10:20, Wed 25 May 2022

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3549559.

Cycle path is not clearly marked with no white line separating pedestrian or bikes, this is dangerous. The path is not adequately signed posted at either end that it is a cycle path so pedestrians are unaware also making it dangerous.

Council ref: 3549559

  • The path on Boxhill Road is for both Cycle and Pedestrian use. We will be looking to clear the overgrown vegetation to improve visibility of the obscured road signs. This has been added to our scheduled work for the 2024/2025 financial year.
