The path is restricted

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:32, Wed 25 May 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3549339.

The section of path just past Heath Crescent on the right hand side of Fifers Lane as you are walking away from the Holt Road, is severely overgrown with bushes at the edge of the industrial park. In places it is about a foot wide so that pedestrians have to walk right along the edge of the path within inches of the traffic flowing along the very busy Fifers Lane. My wife who is partially sighted would be unable to walk this close to the edge of the path as there would be a danger of here falling into the road and when I walk along there it is difficult to pass someone coming the other way without squeezing into the overhanging undergrowth.

Updates

  • The council have inspected the path and agree it needs clearing so have put it on their schedule, but it could take up to 6 weeks
