No heavy goods vehicles sign not being seen

The sign at the top of Thornton Lane is pointing to vehicles entering the road coming up Heath Road only. Vehicles turning left from Bagworth village aren't seeing the sign and getting stuck at the train bridge. They are then either attempting to turn round (damaging property in the process) or reversing all the way back up the lane. The lorry in the photo is reversing.
