Blocked gulley drain putside 36 Stoneybank Terrace

Reported via mobile anonymously at 12:14, Mon 16 May 2022

Sent to East Lothian Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3528744.

This gutter floods badly each time it rains making a deep, huge, long puddle preventing access to vehicles or for pedestrians crossing road. It has been like this for over a year and attempts to clear it have resulted in the conclusion that "it is broken" by the drivers of the big suction tankers. This needs to be addressed.

Updates

  • It is hard to know whether the blocked gulley drain outside 36, 38 Stoneybank Terrace has been fixed because it is only obvious after heavy rain.

  • I can see from the heavy rain today 17th June 2022 that the drain in the gulley/gutter outside 36, 38 Stoneybank Terrace, EH21 6NJ has not been fixed. The water is not draining away and makes it difficult to cross the road or access parked cars.
