Bright street lighting causing 'light pollution' in our lounge, front bedroom and garden

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 13:55, Saturday 14 May 2022

Sent to Haringey Borough Council less than a minute later

New street lighting has been installed to the front of our property, on St Ann's Rd, right next to the new pelican crossing.

At about 4pm each day the street lights turn on and because of their height, lack of baffling and extreme bright white light, the light shines straight into our lounge and front bedroom causing annoyance. When sat on the sofa in our front room - the light comes straight into our eyeline/field of vision.

Additionally, the same lighting has recently been updated/installed adjacent to our property (on Frinton Road). This is shown in the 3rd photo. This light in particular casts unwanted bright light into our back garden and is a visual annoyance when facing Frinton Rd in our garden.
