Public footpath between Milliners Way and Thorley Lane East (St Michael's Mead) Overgrown trees blocking street lights and natural light to gardens and public path. The Trees are causing over shading to gardens and a dark potentially dangerous pathway at night.

Reported via desktop in the Trees (along Public Rights of Way) category anonymously at 10:54, Wednesday 11 May 2022

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Particularly large trees, as indicated, on the path behind Milliners Way have become overgrown behind street light marked '35' and '3'. Trees are now over three stories high blocking natural light during the day and street light to the path at night. The lack of natural light caused by the excessive growth of these trees is very much impacting gardens which are now sadly shaded which is causing distress, as is the safety issue with lack of street lighting for walking at night and deterring crime. The trees are in particularly urgent need of pollarding please. Thank you.
