Overgrown bushes blocking visibility for pedestrians and cars at junction

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 19:57, Sat 7 May 2022

Sent to East Lothian Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3508875.

Overgrown bushes are blocking visibility for pedestrians and cars at junction of Ben Sawyers Park and Tantallon Road. The bushes are well over head height and cannot be seen through, which has led to a number of near misses with cars and pedestrians, especially children, that could have caused injury or worse. The problem affects pedestrians coming from the east/country direction and drivers who typically look to the open west/town direction.

The overgrown bushes are also obscuring the street sign.
