The road surface has needed repair and resurfacing for some time now. There are several large areas of damage/decay. If these were smaller they would be described as potholes, they are beyond that now. They are a danger to two wheeled road users in particular. They have the potential to cause damage to vehicles and are so positioned that drivers will try to avoid them, perhaps at the last minute, this is a very dangerous hazard to have. Particularly at a traffic light crossing.
