Flytipping in alley

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 08:01, Friday 6 May 2022

Sent to Oxford City Council less than a minute later

Even more doors (and now a rug) have been flytipped into the corner of our alley. An empty propane cylinder was also left elsewhere in the alley (not pictured). The entrance to the alley is on Cardigan street near the intersection with Canal Street.

  • Can confirm that the items were collected, but they have since been replaced with two more doors. I would strongly favour some type monitoring on this alley, as it is cleary the preferred site for a repeat flytipper.

  • I probably should have marked this as fixed and then filed a new report, because the original doors were cleared, but the more recently flytipped doors are still in the alley.

  • Doors are still there. They have been joined by other household garbage, including a retractable sun shade.
