Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 19:53, Fri 19 April 2013

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

There are some potholes of varying size and depth going up Vicarage Causeway, as you come in from the London Road end, and extend roughly half way up the length of the hill (about 50 metres). Basically, the whole road needs resurfacing, as it has not been done for more than 40 years, and is in a poor state of disrepair. I have lived in that road since 1972.

  • The largest pothole was repaired, but has since sunk slightly, and most of the rest of the road still not been repaired.

  • One pothole was filled in, which has since sunk slightly. I also said that the rest of Vicarage Causeway needed resurfacing, because of potholes of varying size, and trenches, which were dug about 20 years ago to lay cabling, which are now in a state of disrepair.Despite other people reporting the state of the road, this has still not been done.
