Sent to Lincolnshire County Council and North Kesteven District Council 5 minutes later
I saw a little girl almost get run over here last week. She was walking from Greyleys into Sleaford town direction holding hands with her mum and she suddenly pulled away ran out onto the road where a car zoomed passed doing around 65-70mph. I have seen many things like this happen along this road but nothing so close to being a fatal accident. I also recently saw a large group of school children across the road waiting for the bus one boy was stood on the curb lost his balance or got pushed backward and nearly got zapped by an overtaking car.
I think it’s really dangerous now there are so many children passing through this area to keep the speed limit at 60mph, as it was before the Greylees estate was built. Most of the children walk from Greylees into town, some use the bus stop across the road, some popping over to the garage to get milk, crisps or chocolate. There must be hundreds of children living on Greylees now and there will be more moving into the area as the estate grows, please don’t wait for an accident to happen before something is done about the speed limit.
