Outside one of the garages of 47B James street is a big waste problem. Firstly all but 2 bins (1 recycling and 1 refuse) do not belong to the flats in 47B. Everybody (people who do not live at 47B) use these 5 bins and use them incorrectly— this is what I mean by fly tipping. This means that the recycling wasn’t taken out today due to non recyclable goods including a bag of food waste/garden waste being in the bins. Further a bin that did have recyclable items was also not taken out because it was near those that had the wrong items in them. The residents of 47B who have to deal with the smell/flies/mess now also have nowhere to put out their rubbish due to NO fault of their own. We deal with a LOT of public nuisance on this corner, including frequent urination, vomiting, needles, homelessness and even occasional human excrement in addition to the noise and general drunkenness. But this is a disgusting issue that needs to be resolved.
The bins that do not belong to 47B need to be enforced to be taken back to where they belong.
It was requested that one of the flats (Flat 2) was to be put on bags instead of bins about 18 months ago but this has still not happened.
In the short term all this rubbish that is NOT due to 47B needs to be removed and a long term solution MUST be arranged.
Further the bins are used to by people for cover, to sleep behind, to do drugs behind, to urinate and even defecate behind.
