No do not park on the grass verge signage and door number signage on Windmill Ave
Reported via mobile anonymously at 17:04, Wed 27 April 2022 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3487200.
The first issue is car and van drivers are parking on the grass verge on the side of 34 Windmill Ave. There is no signage to say "do not park on the grass verge". The vehicles shown parked on the corner of the grass verge is creating an 'accident’ blindspot. There are vehicles to the houses at the end of the close that speed around the corner. Dog walkers, school, children, residents and the elderly frequently walk in this road. This is a hazard. The second issue is delivery vehicles that make a wrong turn have to turnaround and reverse. As there is no signage to indicate, which house numbers can be accessed.

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. We can consider some no through road signage for this area to make people aware that it is a dead end and may be difficult to turn around. With regards to parking on the verge we suggest that you contact the local town or parish council. As they will be able to provide support and financial backing towards any future measurements to prevent people parking in these areas.
