Bridge wall damaged

Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3456791.

This bridge wall was rebuilt last week but has been hit again and looks cracked. The large cap stone has been shifted and is detached from the wall. It could fall off. This wall is always getting hit and rebuilt, so would it be better to fit a curved crash barrier to protect it and perhaps direct the vehicle round the corner rather than head on into wall?

  • Wall has suffered further damage after being hit again. It is horizontally in two halves now.
