Flytipping by illegally moored boats

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3451093.

More rubbish left by boaters mooring illegally on council land. Boaters leaving their rubbish behind on spit of land upstream of Hertford Lock. Boater don’t pay council tax why are they allowed to moor there and council tax payers pick up the bill for removing their rubbish.

East Herts Council contacted me regarding this and have assigned their only environmental officer to investigate as of last week only one boat was moored in the area.
