Tarmac around manhole sinking, close to junction

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422108.

Manhole close to junction on Winton road and Doncaster gardens in Navenby, the supporting edge around the manhole is collapsing, residents are concerned the whole inspection chamber will fall in, there has been increased commercial traffic due to construction work nearby, please treat with urgency, this has developed recently.

  • This is manhole is now sinking and the whole thing is getting more dangerous for drivers, it needs immediate attention before there is an accident. Numerous complaints from residents.

  • The condition of this concern has worsened recently and the annoyance of the noise every time the manhole is driven over is very disturbing, a loud clanking noise is made now every time it’s driven over, so two clanks for every car, you advise a response of 14 days since the initial report, that was 9 th April, what’s happening? Does this manhole have to collapse and cause an accident or severe damage to a car.
