No action taken on this report. The stretch of road on both carriage ways from about Carr Arms entrance going down Mareham lane for a number of metres will now need totally replacing. I appreciate this will be very costly in both money and road restrictions but needs urgent action Now.

So the Saga continues. My report dated Thu 7 April 2022 still stands. Last month Mareham lane (Outside Aldi and Carr Arms) was closed for road repairs. Unfortunately, whatever was used to fill the potholes lasted about a week. Why? Well Mareham lane atracts a great number of HGV's and Traactors. This stretch of road is beyond patching and needs resurfacing. The state of the road now demands that you have to slow down and carefully navigate all of the holes. .
