Damage to the posts and parking on grass

Posts alongside Pennine Way installed recently to what appeared to be prevention of people parking on grass areas allowed wide enough gap for people to access grass anyway but now they do that through pavement spreading mud around and endangering pedestrians. Two of the posts were also sawn off few days ago which looks even worse than before We ask want the area to look clean and tidy not like a run down estate

  • The council is aware of this issue and will be seeking to prosecute those responsible for the damage to public property. Rectification work is due to be carried out.
