Overhanging trees and overgrowth at roundabout
Reported via desktop in the Trees (on the highway verge) category anonymously at 15:06, Mon 18 April 2022
Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3423817.
There are overhanging trees and overgrowth by the roundabout at the junction of Windhill and Great Hadham Road Bishop’s Stortford, which have been there for some time but will be made worse when the new leaves come out. These obscure the view of drivers entering or leaving Windhill. There are two schools St.Joseph’s and Windhill 21 on either side of this roundabout and as the junction is heavily used by school drivers at set down and pick up times these trees and undergrowth are very hazardous to them, and to the residents of this particular part of Windhill. This problem is not helped by the illegal parking at school times in a permit parking controlled zone. It would be better if this side of the roundabout could be made to match the opposite side which is grassed and does not make it difficult for drivers to see.

Appently the person who inspected this problem went to the wrong location, Appleton Fields instead of opposite Windhill 21 Primary School, Windhill, Bishop’s Stortford CM23 2NJ. Perhaps this site could be inspected again.
