Disabled bay

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3419109.

The disabled bay outside my home needs repainting please. I'm coming home to find that I can't park and I am unable to walk.

  • The council replied saying that it wasn't a priority and due to limited funds it wouldn't be fixed. They say they are 'monitoring' it. What they don't seem to understand is how difficult it makes things for me if I can't park in my disabled bay. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

  • Still not repainted yet they have done the markings outside the school in the same street. Would it really have been so much trouble to do my bay at the same time?

  • Still not done. I still keep coming home and finding that I can't park. I get the same argument every time that they didn't see the road markings.

  • I have received an email from the council saying that I can have the bay repainted at my cost of £240. Looks like I need to start saving then.
