Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3418915.

Cars are frequently left idling at school drop off and pick up times, contrary to the highway code which clearly states: "You must not leave a vehicle’s engine running unnecessarily while that vehicle is stationary on a public road."

This is particularly bad when you consider that this exactly coincides with children walking to school and inhaling the fumes.
