Vehicles have worn long deep groove on grass verge

Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Oadby and Wigston Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3417299.

Vehicles have worn a long deep groove into the grass verge forming part of pavement. Location is South end of Herrick Way on Left Hand Side just before Forryans Close. Problem has got particularly bad over last 3 or 4 months.

  • The problem has been passed on to the Highways department, who propose to do absolutely nothing. In the meantime, the problem is getting steadily worse. Now at least 3 vehicles regularly park on the grass verge, which has become seriously disfigured.
