The public footpath bridge crossing this small stream is covered in thick mud. It's been like this for a few years. During the wet and winter months the mud covers the full width of the path and bridge, and is unavoidable. It is deep mud, slippery and hazardous. During the dry weather the mud solidifies and becomes uneven to pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge surface and track could really do with being cleared of all the mud. It's easy to see where the track before and after the bridge needs clearing too. I know the council has limited resources at the moment, but a visit by some workers to shovel the thick mud from the full width and length of the path would be really appreciated.
