The LED lights installed about a year ago over the bridge have failed.

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later
The LED lights installed about a year ago over the bridge have failed due to poor quality lights damaged by wet weather. The bridge therefore is very dark and as the pavement slabs are all very uneven this is dangerous for more elderly people who could easily trip on the uneven slabs. These lights should be repaired as a matter of urgency with better quality this time please.

The LED lights over Wetherby Bridge have mostly failed due to weather conditions and by admission of the Wetherby Parish Clerk I spoke to, because they were cheap lights. They need to be repaired as without them, the bridge is poorly lit and the paving stones are all uneven and could cause people to trip. They are also unsightly as some work and most do not.

I have had no response at all. This needs to be prioritised when we get towards autumn as the paving is so uneven, it needs good lighting and it also spoils the look of the town.

Alan Lamb assured me they would be sorted by October, before he went on sick leave.

I was promised the lights would be fixed by now! Not very confidence inspiring! When will these be fixed please?

I saw some workers came to put new lights up (that’s what it looked like anyway) but they might just have been taking the defective ones down. In any event, they are not on!

Not sure if they have been fixed as not been over the bridge after dark for a while.
