Laurel bushes obstructing view for drivers approaching pelican crossing - Chestnut Avenue

Reported via desktop in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 09:44, Fri 4 March 2022

Sent to Eastleigh Borough Council and Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3361261.

There are laurel bushes obstructing the view of pedestrian crossing traffic lights on Chestnut Avenue as you approach the Asda roundabout from the South. My father was inches from being killed recently as a car ran the red light at speed just as he was crossing. He is partially sighted and relies on cars stopping at that crossing. Please can you get people round to prune the buses back as soon as possible. This has been reported several times I believe.
