Bricks lying in road &Roundabout damaged

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:25, Thu 3 March 2022

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3358106.

Downham Market. 'Heygates roundabout', junction of Railway Rd, Station Rd (A1122) and A1122 bypass, (nearest roundabout to railway station). Yet again this roundabout (mini-roundabout?), has been struck by an HGV. The brickwork at the base of the roundabout is lying in the road and presenting a danger. Cannot obtain photos safely, so have attached photos from Streetview which show similar, though less serious damage in 2016 which was never properly repaired.

  • I know it has already been reported. As you will see above, I told NCC about it in 2016.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 09:57, Thu 31 March 2022

  • Loose bricks have been piled on top of the 'roundabout' but otherwise nothing has been done about this defect.
