Debris at edges of road

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 09:22, Thu 3 March 2022

Sent to Mid Suffolk District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3358094.

Following the storms a couple of weeks ago there is an accumulation of debris (sticks, stones, sand) along both sides of Stowmarket Road and Station Road making it unsafe for cycling close to the edges of the road, particularly in the dark. A road sweeper is in urgent need.

Updates

  • The parish council have sent at a road sweeper, not in response to my post but as part of as trial service they are considering, and most of the road is now clear. However, the cycle lane between the zebra crossing and Budgens has been missed and still contains debris
