School parking

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3343537.

Near my son's school. Thurnby mead primary academy. At pick up times people are parking on bus stop. Yellow lines zebra crossing anywhere there is a space.

  • Outside Thurnby Meade Primary Academy on the junction of Dudley Avenue & Dakyn Road, cars are parking dangerously, opposite a junction, on white zig zag lines & obstructing traffic flow. This is a extremely busy road as it is used as a bus route & route to both a primary school & three neighbouring secondary schools. There is a substantial amount of traffic and so any cars parked on the left hand side of Dakyn Road are not only dangerous but cause blockage to the traffic flow.
