Potential dangerous overhanging tree branches

Reported via mobile in the Trees (along Public Rights of Way) category anonymously at 17:28, Mon 21 February 2022

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3332338.

The large trees shown have long branches overhanging both pavement, parking lay-by and road situate at Warners Avenue,Hoddesdon. All areas frequented by persons attending nearby sheredes primary school. In the recent high winds a number of branches were ‘ bouncing’ and potentially dangerous to persons and vehicles. Proposed emergency work by Thames Water was abandoned due to Health and Safety concerns particularly with one branch looking vulnerable to unexpectedly breaking away.
