Vermin Holes

Reported via desktop by Barry Atherton at 07:55, Monday 21 February 2022

Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council less than a minute later

The collapsed drive was repaired some time ago but the verge still riddled with rat holes which rats setting off the neighbours security light. A HGV driver delivering a 3000 kg sectional building to me refused to cross this part of the drive as he deemed it hollow. This problem was reported to Nuneaton & Coventry Council over a year ago. It was considered to be a convoluted problem.

  • N&BBC authorised some contractors to solve the problem. They filled in the holes but the rats simply dug out elsewhere. It needs baiting as well.

  • A couple of days ago a big brown rat had a food fight with a magpie. I’m playing pass the parcel with N&BBC, Cov Council, Severn Trent and Rat Detection. They don’t need detecting just eradicating.

  • After nearly 2 years of pass the parcel and ping pong I contacted Michelle Kondakor, Green Candidate, Within 2 days 2 guys visited with a CCTV to confirm the sewer chamber had collapsed. Maybe 2 years for repair.
