There are years' worth of twigs, leaves and general sludge collected beneath the safety railings towards the bottom of Church Street. This is at the junction with Monk's Dyke Road near Kidgate. The pavement hasn't been cleaned or swept in years. The mess gets added to with poor and dirty roads through the winter. See photos for evidence of the build-up of dirt which needs clearing please.
Extent of mess and sludge in daylight.

The mud and leaves have been there so long, grass and weeds are growing through the debris and possibly rooting into, and damaging, the pavement beneath.
