Obstruction of Highway

Hi,

I rang highways & spoke with wayne on 31/1/22 pm. Bespoke Driveways are well known to you I know, so I took some photos with my (basic) mobie phone. They are putting in drive at 187 wellington hill west in north bristol. They have put up new advertising signs on both posts in middle of zebra crossing at below head height which are potentially dangerous to those who do not see them & walk into them. They have put up more advertising signs on lamp post opposite 187. Yesterday they were obstructing one lane of wellington hill west (ie half the road!) for at least the hour that it took me to go past & back again at 5pm. There were no warning signs on road at all. Traffic was queued up to get round their obstruting lorry as the raod can get quite busy. At the same time they had totally obstructed the pavement near the lorry with a heap of what looked like soil - pedestrians had no way to get past & they couldn't go in road because their lorry was blocking that whole lane. No warning signs on pavement at all. At the same time on the opposite side of the road on the pavement they had parked not only a large van with trailer but also another lorry. I think they may have seen me taking photos at around 5pm (as I came back past), as they moved the lorry blocking traffic nearer the pavement. Today they were back working there & it looks like they will be laying the drive tomorrow.

This firm is known to Highways for repeat offences, but they seem to think they can do whatever they want & litter up bristol with their large advertising signs everywhere they go!
