Large briars extending across pavement.

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:34, Sat 29 January 2022

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3274973.

On the corner of Gossamer Lane and St Richards Way in Nyetimber, Bognor Regis the hedge surrounding the house on the corner opposite the church is sending out many bramble briars across the pavement. Some of these are at face height and could easily be missed at night causing injury. Can they be severely cut back please.

Updates

  • A very feeble attempt has been made to trim back and push the worst of the briars away from the path but plenty remain and will soon grow as bad as the others were. We will keep an eye out and report when they get dangerous again.
