Better no entry for hgv signs needed

Reported via Android in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 09:35, Tue 25 January 2022

Sent to Kent County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3265054.

Can we please get bigger and better signage in place to let hgv's know this road isn't suitable for them. It is becoming more than a daily occurance now that multiple hgv's get stuck at the width restriction causing chaos for residents here as we can't get out of the estate. At the time of writing this there are 2 of the idiots stuck causing massive ques of traffic just for us to get out of the estate. When these warehouses were built after assurances they wouldn't be built near the houses, we were told there would be signs put up to stop them.using this riad, but all there is are silly bits of paper that have been laminated stuck on a lampost, near impossible to see! This is getting worse as there are more of these idiots using this road, so please get better signage put in place ASAP, or a height restriction to stop this happening. We need better signage to say brunel way, Marsh Street North and halcrow avenue are not suitable for hgv's so stop using them as a shortcut! You need to start putting cameras up and fining the drivers/companies that are doing this as apparently you have told them all they can't use these roads, but they still are. So until you take enforcement action or get proper signage/height restrictions put in place, this isnt going to stop! There are more than enough of us here that have pictures, cctv and dashcam footage of these clowns getting stuck, which should be enough evidence for you to take action against them.
