Broken Footpath Gate School Run

The gate does not open fully, the hinges may need replacing and the spring. For people with buggies and young children this can be an additional difficulty to manage on the way to a school with over 400 pupils arriving in the morning and going home in the afternoon. For people generally it is a nuisance and causes people to avoid the pavement and walk on the road or verge where it is less easy to use wheels. For anyone with mobility challenges it is also an additional obstacle.
