1foot or more of tarmac pavement is buried under the verge

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 12:45, Tue 18 January 2022

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3249402.

1foot or more of tarmac pavement is buried under the verge - This path has gotten smaller due to the verge and hedge not being maintained. Not wide enough for one person to walk safely with out the possibility of being clipped by vehicles as they accelerate to go up the hill. I was clipped and injured by a van here, there was no where to move over to. This is dangerous for residences and is also a safe school walking route RAF camp it needs to be addressed before the hedge becomes impassable completely in full bloom and more serious injuries occur. This path is located on the same side of the Carriage way as the old Crown Pub and Chalk Pit, the stretch of path is it’s worse between the cattle grid gated drive and the chalk pit drive.
