Cars mount the curb, road not wide enough, no protection for pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:21, Thursday 13 January 2022

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Vantorts road, sawbridgeworth is not wide enough for modern wide vehicles, instead of pulling in, cars and vans mount the curb. This is not safe. I’ve been nearly hit multiple times. Bollards, railings, and signs are essential to protect pedestrians. The vans espeically show no regard for highway code.

  • I submitted a report here. The reply was to submit a report., please just deal with the problem. I have emailed councillors. They have given up trying. This is between the highways and the police. I have reported to police. No reply.
