At the bottom of the gate is wire. It drags along the ground and is only fixed at one end. It is easy to get your feet caught up in it. Please could it fixed or even removed? Also you have to secure the gate with ripe which can be tricky when you have a dog. Any chance of a proper latch? Thank you

Someone could easily get their feet caught in the wire or an animal. It is not attached to the bottom of the gate properly.
