Noisy manhole cover

Sent to Gosport Borough Council and Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3219484.

Noise from manhole cover which is almost constant as this is a busy road leading to a roundabout and every car seems to drive over it. Problem has been ongoing for approx 6 weeks. Especially bad at night as constant noise disrupts sleep!

  • Have been advised by Council that manhole cover is the responsibility of Virgin and the Council will advise Virgin of the issue.
