Hartham swimming pool closed long past time for repair.

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The pool has been shut for refurbishment long past the estimated timescale for the repair. The original date for completion of the works was Sept/Oct 2021. Pool staff refuse to give a date for reopening and the contractor states that they are having problems with the pool liner, despite the fact that both pools have been full of water for over two months now. I visit the pool to check on progress 2-3 times a week and I have only ever once seen anyone working on the pool in 4 months.

  • Finally opened nearly a year late. Work completed looks like it could have been done in a couple of weeks.
