Numerous dangerous potholes tennyson road

Sent to West Sussex County Council 2 minutes later
Along the whole length of Tennyson Road, Bognor Regis, are numerous dangerous potholes. Some are more than 3ins deep. In the past these holes have been ring-marked with white and yellow paint. The paint in some cases has worn-away. There is a very large one on the juction of Tennyson Road and Elm Grove. There are other deep ones running the whole length of Tennyson From the Junction of Tennyson Road and Nyewood lane.
Tennyson Road is used as a 'Rat-Run' and as such this road has to bare the brunt of a higher than usual amount of traffic. From cars, Huge-lorries, vans and other delivery vans, all serving the many nursing homes in this area. The danger exists whereby cars and other vehicles are parked on either side of the whole length of this road, making it difficult to avoid the holes without dodging and crashing into these parked vehicles and other vehicles attempting to use the road.
As you can see, to reduce the serious possibility of accidents and damage to person and vehicles, It would be most conducive to the safety of all road-users of this road if these holes are repaired soonest.
Please feel free to contact me if necessary. Yours ever, Reginald Steers.

Re: Tennyson Road - Bognor Regis: POTHOLES.
Regarding my initial request for the repair to potholes along the (whole) of Tenneyson Road. Two of the main potholes on this road were fixed. But unfortunately, a series of even larger potholes along this road were NOT repaired. These remaining potholes are an even more dangerous state than the ones which were repaired. You may recall that I mentioned the reason for this road becoming such a dangerous state of repair was; This road has parked vehicles on either side of the road, (for the whole length of the road). Thus, all traffic using this road must travel down the center of the road, whereby the center is being errode. There is the added danger of vehicles running into other vehicles which are trying to avoid the numerous potholes. Furthermore, over the past couple of years or so, this road has now become a rat-run for vehicles wishing to access Nyetimber Lane.
I am sure the resident's along Tennyson Road would appreciate the repairing of this road.

To some extent most of the potholes have been fixed. It is a pity the central-surface of this road has been subjected to so many botched repairs, it is now perhaps the most uneven, dangerous surface in this area. As stated previously, the problem is exacerbated by vehicles being continually forced to travel down the center of the road, thus the central road-surface for more than 60mt, is subject to unusual wear-and-tear.
