Another 7 street lights not working in Dunbar

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 00:24, Mon 20 December 2021

Sent to East Lothian Council less than a minute later

North Road, from the corner of rich kids school to Winterfield golf club has the whole stretch of seven consecutive street lamps not working. This makes it very dangerous for walkers. This is in addition to most of the High Street Dunbar having been without street lamps for months now. No replies from East Lothian Council..

Updates

  • I have just returned from walking along Dunbar High Street at 20.00. Both the street and pavements are very dark as we now have a situation with 24 street lamps out of action on the High Street alone. Despite raising this very same problem last year, nothing has been done to replace the missing light bulbs and the town gets darker and more dangerous as we get closer to the shorter days of autumn/winter. This is a situation which not only appears not to have been fixed, it appears not to have been looked at in a year.
