Leaves on pavement along Hale Road

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 15:56, Wed 15 December 2021

Sent to Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later

This stretch of pavement, along the police station side of Hale Road, has not been cleared of leaves. Everywhere in the area has been cleared, but this section behind the railings has not. The stretch towards Gascoyne Way is particularly slippery when wet.

Updates

  • The leaves are still behind the railings on Hale Road. I took these pictures this morning. You can see the frost, which made the compacted leaves very slippery. It'll need a shovel to scrape them up. The other leaves are sycamore and take longer to decompose. Thank you

  • I give up! What's the point of keep reporting to FixMyStreet!
