Footpath now dangerously slippery
Reported via desktop in the Pavements category anonymously at 05:34, Wed 15 December 2021
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Footpath along A417 was partially cleared earlier to the 50mph sign Following wet weather the continuing path and bridges over the Ock are very slippery with mud and very narrow, thanks to overhanging brambles etc. With lorries increasing speed as they leave the village, the pavement now feels a very dangerous place.

Parts of the path between Stanford 30mph sign and Mill Farm is now impossible to walk along without stepping into the A417. The bits that are wider are still very slippy and muddy.. The photos posted last summer, showing how narrow it had become , have been taken off this site but no action was taken for the path after the 30mph sign where the real issue is.
