Series of deep and wide potholes along the northern edge of the carriageway; high likelihood of vehicle damage

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 14:27, Sat 4 December 2021

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3159828.

In January 2021, I reported this problem stating: "More than a year ago (September 2019), I reported this problem: 'Very deep and long potholes on edge of carriageway in the direction of South Harting This stretch of potholes has been here for many months. They have been filled in previous years, but only with loose material which is soon scoured out as cars etc have to pulled over towards the verge to pass on-coming wide vehicles. High potential for vehicle damage - tyres and suspension. Needs to be filled with tarmac, not simply soil-like material'. The problem was acknowledged as requiring action, but nothing has been done and it has got worse."

In other words, this has been a problem for at least two and a half years. In other words, this has been a problem for at least two and a half years. It is now worse than ever - a normal car will ground if it gets into this long and deep rut. Why has nothing been done about it? When is it going to be mended?
