Someone is going to die because of your “traffic calming”

You’ve installed new traffic calming on the way into Brize village. It’s be installed ON A CORNER!!!! Which on a night or in poor lighting, you can not see the traffic oncoming because it’s on a corner and there are several large trees blocking the line of sight.
Seriously, you teach children not to cross on a corner because it’s dangerous and then you go and install traffic calming on a corner.
Please remove or relocate it!!!

Dear Mr Smart,
Thank you for your report and concerns raised within. We are working closely with the developer to have these works completed as soon as possible.
The completed works will have bollards and street lighting to illuminate the cushion to provide enhanced visibility.
The current traffic management is within the guidance and regulation standards, providing advance signage to alert drivers before approaching the cushion.
Recently an independent Road Safety Audit has been undertaken to ensure the current condition and location of the works are safety compliant.
The operation of the cushions around Brize Norton were all observed during the audit and from observations, drivers were reducing speeds and manoeuvring safely around the cushions.
Kind regards

3 times in 5 days I have nearly had a head on collision coming out of Brize Norton and it usually happens at least twice a week.
