This is not fair! Please help me! Between Methuen Road and Methuen Close, Overbrook Walk and Whitchurch Parade, Whitchurch Lane and Handel Way there is Excreta, Domestic Rubbish, Food Wastes, Beer Bottles, Cans, Plastics, Matresses, TVs, Washing Machine, Sofas, Carpets to mention but a few. Please it is mind boggling living in these conditions considering I pay my taxes. The fellow residents care less. I believe the only way to deter criminals is a CCTV placed in the area.

Methuen Road by Methuen Close. I attached photos. I have photos of these rubbish. I have reported a similar case before in the same location. The culprits are wicked, dirty and unscrupulous. The only way out is placing of CCTV in the area, catching the criminals and prosecuting them so others will be extremely deterred to carry on these heavy littering in their own doorsteps!

I feel disappointed having moved into Brent Council newly to see the state of the area. At the beginning, the middle and towards the end of Methuen Close. There are 3 areas of disease-infested fly-tipped excessive litter. The contents of the refuse dumped has attracted flies, foul smells to the area and the brook underneath. Some of the refuse has been dumped in the brook distorting the beautiful flow of the brook's current. The contents of these refuse seems to be food, household goods and human waste. These 3 areas of fly-tipping has been left there now for months. The refuse is blocking the footpath to pedestrians. Please how would subsequent litter be prevented from being dumped here. Is there a possibility of CCTV to catch litter culprits? How long will it take for the litter to be removed?

Bill Griffiths, Enforcement Officer responded with a general letter to all residents but it has not changed anything. CCTV is needed!

You partially carry out a task that you are meant to as part of your duties in keeping the surroundings clean, healthy and tidy in Edgware and protecting its inhabitants from street loiters and criminals, then you demand for a good report on a questionnaire just to give you a good tick on a paper work. When you do your job properly you do not need any 5-minute on-the-spot commendation and accolades! The street is still dirty and loitered with filth. Please clean it. This is not fair, after paying my council tax only to receive a second-class service!

The refuse, excreta, rubbish and unwanted furniture is still being dumped and discarded with reckless abandon without any recourse for the general and the public's health and safety. We have children living and playing in the neighbourhood. This is METHUEN CLOSE, EDGWARE. We are exposing our children to extreme situations where they can and will be infected with air or water-borne diseases especially wit the onset of summer. My MP Bob Blackman should show some leadership and stop this reckless abandon of responsibility. Please MP Bob Blackman show some real councillorship and ignore for once the bogus charade politician display. MP Bob Blackman we are awaiting your LEADERSHIP!

It is a constant nightmare. Its seems that this side of Edgware has been abandoned irrespective of whether the residents in these areas pay their taxes like every other persons in other areas. There needs to be CCTV put up in the area and constant surveillance by PCSO and the Police and not only coming to the area to issue residents with parking tickets. They forget that they may make more revenue through pursuance and prosecution of these nasty dirty criminals with the use of surveillance and CCTV.
