Dangerous to pull out of junction from Ashford rd onto B3078

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3136125.

Due to curve of the B3078, visibility is limited when pulling out at this junction. In order to pull out safely, it is necessary to open my car windows and listen for incoming traffic when riding right (West). When ambient noise is loud, such as when it is windy or raining heavily, it is impossible to ensure that it is safe to pull out. Would it be possible to install a mirror opposite the junction, on the South side of the B3078, to improve visibility in both directions for vehicles turning West out of Ashford road?
