Playground Danger

Reported via Android anonymously at 13:23, Sun 21 November 2021

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3135604.

There is soft rubber mats underneath the play area, which is good. But very close to this is a stony path.

What happens is the stones, some 3cm or so, get onto the mats so then are stationary and stick up.

I think falling onto a stone, which now has sharp edges pointing upwards, because of the rubber mat, is going to be far more dangerous than just falling onto the hard compacted mud.

So I think this setup is actively endangering life or making serious injury much more likely
