The grass needs cutting back off the path

The grass is continuing to grow over both sides of the path making it increasingly narrow. It used to be significantly wider than it is currently. It is now very difficult to hold my toddlers hand whilst walking along it as it is so narrow. The grass cutters also don’t blow the grass cuttings off the path after cutting so when it rains they become sludgy and unpleasant to walk on.
